As Baltimore’s only local education fund, and most experienced education intermediary, the Fund for Educational Excellence plays a unique and significant role in the Baltimore community. For over 25 years, the Fund has kept Baltimore’s students at the heart of our work, and improving student achievement at the core of our mission. We have demonstrated time and time again our ability to work with Baltimore City’s schools and school district to: increase student achievement; decrease disciplinary incidents; raise graduation rates; and create learning environments where students, teachers and principals thrive.
The Fund relies on its community to underwrite the cost of the research, development, and training that is critical to our success. Our annual funding comes from both public and private sector grants and contracts, as well as corporate and individual donors.
