FFEE Initiatives

Welcome to the Fund for Educational Excellence!

Since our founding in 1984 as a partnership of businesses, parents, educators, and community members, the Fund for Educational Excellence has actively advanced our commitment to improving student achievement in Baltimore City.  We believe a strong public school system is critical to the overall health of our community, which is why we keep Baltimore’s children, teachers and principals at the heart of our work.  Everyday, we bring best practices in instruction directly into Baltimore’s schools and classrooms, and then work with the school system to translate these efforts into district-wide strategies, protocols and policies for effective education.
